Paris, France – August 24–29, 2025 – The International Journal for Vitamin and Nutrition Research (IJVNR), hosted by the Chinese Nutrition Society (CNS) and co-hosted by the Federation of Asian Nutrition Societies (FANS), held a special Editorial Board Appointment Ceremony during the 23rd International Congress of Nutrition (IUNS-ICN 2025) in Paris.

As an international, peer-reviewed journal published by IMR Press, IJVNR is dedicated to advancing nutrition science and promoting the dissemination of high-quality open access research. To strengthen its editorial leadership and expand its international influence, the journal has recently enlarged its Editorial Board. The appointment ceremony in Paris marked an important milestone in this development.

At the event, the two Editors-in-Chief of IJVNR, Prof. Yuexin Yang (President of the CNS and FANS) and Prof. Torsten Bohn (University of Luxembourg), presented official certificates to six newly appointed Editorial Board Members and two Advisory Editors.

The new Editorial Board Members are:

    · Prof. Mahenderan Appukutty, President of the Nutrition Society of Malaysia

    · Dr. Kalpana Bhaskaran, President of the Singapore Nutrition Dietetics Association

    · Prof. Hardinsyah, President of the Indonesian Food and Nutrition Society (PERGIZI PANGAN)

    · Prof. Hitoshi Ashida, President of the Japan Society of Nutrition and Food Science

     · Assoc. Prof. Rewadee Chongsuwat, Department of Nutrition, Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand

    · Prof. Hyun-Sook Kim, President of the International Union of Nutritional Sciences

Advisory Editors are:

    · Prof. Tee E. Siong, Immediate-Past President, Nutrition Society of Malaysia

    · Prof. Nalinee Chongviriyaphan, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Bangkok

The newly appointed members expressed their commitment to supporting the continued growth of IJVNR. They pledged to contribute actively to the journal’s success by sharing their expertise, promoting high-quality nutrition research, and publishing their latest findings in IJVNR.
