On January 12, 2025, the Chinese Nutrition Society (CNS) and IMR Press held the International Journal for Vitamin and Nutrition Research (IJVNR) Strategic Cooperation and Nutrition Science Development Symposium in Beijing. 

The collaboration aims to enhance the global influence of China's nutrition science by utilizing IMR Press' professional platform to connect members with international exchanges. The initiative will further strengthen China's voice in global nutrition discussions, promote wider international cooperation.

Professor YANG Yuexin, President of the CNS, President of the Federation of Asian Nutrition Societies (FANS), and Professor of the National Institute for Nutrition and Health, China CDC, emphasized the importance of this collaboration.

Professor YANG mentioned that the IJVNR, founded in 1930 during the early years of vitamin discovery and nutrition research, has excellent origins. Both the CNS and the FANS are academic organizations with extensive influence. This strategic cooperation is not only a concrete action of China government, but also a crucial initiative to further strengthen international cooperation. Through establishing a long-term cooperative relationship, both sides will create a brilliant future and achieve win-win cooperation.

Professor YANG and ZHU Difeng, President of IMR Press, jointly signed the strategic cooperation agreement, and awarded the Editor-in-Chief certificate, marking the official launch of the cooperation between the CNS and IMR Press on the IJVNR.

Experts in the field of nutrition health and IMR Press staff also engaged in discussions on the future development and promotion of nutrition science, cooperation and exchanges in the international nutrition community, and strategies for advancing the IJVNR.
