AI Empowers a New Era in Nutrition and Health. Professor Sun Guiju, Deputy Director of the Nutrition and Health Food Branch of CNS, introduced that NutriMeta 3.0 will construct an open platform through the integration of industry, academia, research, and application model. The model will continuously iterate, expand data scale, enhance prediction accuracy, and improve language comprehension capabilities to serve the multi-level needs of research, industry, and the public.

Artificial Intelligence + Nutrition Initiative. The model will accelerate the intelligent transformation and upgrading of nutrition science, empowering product innovation and business model transformation, and unleashing immense potential in fields such as health management and clinical nutrition. As technical support representatives, Bangni Yingce and Baidu elaborated on the application prospects of the model: For researchers, it serves as an efficient research assistant, supporting literature mining, evidence integration, and proposal generation; for the public, it becomes a personal nutritionist, providing lifelong health management; and for manufacturers and organizations, it acts as an intelligent decision engine, aiding in product development and group nutrition solution design.

The construction of NutriMeta 3.0 is based on over a decade of accumulated achievements, including the NutriData Comprehensive Information Platform, Food Composition Database, Nutrition Knowledge Graph, and Nutritionist Intelligent Agent, laying a solid foundation for the model.

Professor YANG Yuexin, President of the Chinese Nutrition Society and President of the Federation of Asian Nutrition Societies, emphasized that the construction of the nutrition model is highly aligned with the Healthy China strategy and digital trends. Moving forward, it is essential to strengthen data supply, coordinate computing power, and build an application environment, uniting industry forces to open up new pathways for the development of the nutrition and health industry.
